Pemberton's Community Garden
Pemberton Community Garden.jpg

The Vic Conte Community Garden is a community based initiative by the people of Pemberton. It is available for the use of anyone in our community after they join as garden members. The garden is supported by the Uniting Church in Australia, the Pemberton Community Resource Centre, Well-Being Warren-Blackwood and the Shire of Manjimup.

The garden itself is located on Dean Street, Pemberton, next to the Uniting Church. Work continues to improve the garden including a new gazebo. The Bannister Downs Hand in Hand project has contributed to this work. All work in the garden is carried out by volunteer garden members for the benefit of members and the wider community. Excess produce is donated to the Uniting Church ‘Food Box’ scheme, and to the Pemberton-Northcliffe Health Service and the Pemberton Aged Accommodation residents.
